Making Firefox Remember Passwords

I never get any of this trouble with Internet Explorer

i find it strange firefox hasnt a built in import/export function but depends on importing only other browsers data ,with the hated IE at least you can import from a file etc in firefox to do its a very convoluted method

Mine still doesn't ask me if I want to save passwords.

 

I imported some and they work, but it still stores old passwords for ones that I've updated.

 

Is it possible I've ticked a wrong box somewhere?

its very choosy and a easily missed line appears (rather than the old box that opened) along the top of the page ,its easily missed though but it seems to ask most times/.

yes its seems to be very picky perhaps some sites opt out ? version 2 was fine but you would have thought 3 would have been sorted by now

perhaps secure but its stopping you from saving your details on your pc ,what else is it doing
