Upped a couple since last listing..

 

Common carp 40.4 English

Mirror carp 35.10 English 1979

Bream 9.1 on feeder rod

Roach 2.2 on a float and pole

Pike 23.8 two 20's in succession on same day :) 5 in 8 short sessions!

The Rudd in my lake are getting steadily bigger, so hope for a two this winter (or sooner :) ) and there is a very good chance the mirror carp will be beaten soon..............

Found the picture of my PB Barbel. Aint she a Beauty!!!

All 14lb 2 ounces of her.

Andrew, properly witnessed and photo'ed. All a bit hazy now, but seem to remember that it was simply considered to big, and "Must be a cross"

 

I think I posted a pic on AN some time ago :)......................and a Two pound Roach :)

Too big, fantastic :lol: Well, congratulations on your record fish, even if it wasn't accepted. If you find a link to the photo I'd love to see it (and the roach!).

 

I've always wanted to catch a big crucian, the trouble is now it means going to one of a handful of busy waters along with everyone else (as the rest if the country's stocks have been ruined by the mass stockings of bloody goldfish) and that doesn't appeal to me. A big one must look awesome.

 

If I had my own water, true crucians would be first on my list of fish to introduce.

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music
