thanks, i will improve. :)

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Keith Arthur - Anging Trust chief cannot be ousted

By Keith Arthur

General News

23 April 2010 17:00

I understand that specimen angler Tony Gibson wants changes at the very top of the Angling Trust and is looking to oust Mark Lloyd. However, while his intentions may be admirable, Mark Lloyd’s isn’t an elected post, but a position of employment.

The rest of this article can be viewed by clicking here.

and the internet wires where humming today with some trying to discredit some of the magnificent 7 for lack of loyalty. Must be something afoot. Is the partnership showing signs of cracking i ask.

That almost looks like a set of instructions on how to get rid of the CEO of the Angling Trust, Barry. The question is, if enough people follow the instructions, who will replace him? Someone who agrees with the extreme views of the few, presumably?

Things might be bad now, Barry, but from where I'm sitting there is far worse lurking just under the surface.

Wayne, sorry I mist your post, didn't want to rock the boat!

Believe it or not, we are on the same side so I will leave it at that.

I keep a keen eye on BFM too.

And so you should, because apart from this and a few other websites - it's the only place you can get any information about what's really going on behind those firmly closed doors at AT Towers! I must admit, that if it wasn't for Steve C and a few others I wouldn't even bother with the politics in the mag. Getting info out of the AT is like trying to catch Dover sole with a size 10/0 O'Shaughnessy!

I'm just glad to have hooked up with some very passionate anglers that are willing to sort through all the political crap that is scattered about in myriads of locations, and put it into plain English that most anglers can understand.

I must admit that I only dive in to the politics of the AT on an as-and-when basis. Unfortunately, I lost interest a while ago.

However, am I seeing this right? Is Mark Lloyd being got at because he won't condone the killing of protected species?

If so, that's ludicrous.

Apparently, in last weeks Angling Times, (I don't buy it, it was read out to me over the phone), he quite rightly said the Angling Trust didn't speak for the majority of anglers, so he couldn't make decisions on things like Otter culls without alienating a big percentage of the angling world.

It seems a few people think they should be allowed to speak for all anglers and push ahead with their extreme agendas, regardless. If they are successful in what they seek to achieve, we, as anglers, are all in big trouble.

I thought the same as Elton, but was waiting to see how it develops. If all of this comes true, then we really will have the lunatics running the asylum.

John.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John
