Anyone got a list of the guys who sat on the committee at that time or is it a secret.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

So, the EA should be able to throw a bit of light on the extent of the assistamnce they got from the Angling Trust in banning anglers from taking eels, while commercial fishing for them continues. There ought to be records of who said what, who gave what recommendations, etc. That should reveal whether any AT committees were involved, or not.

This is the place Steve : http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/

If nothing else it makes it awkward them. And once you open a can of worms you never know what will be revealed ....

I've had a reply from the Ministry of Justice. It appears that they don't hold the records which we are seeking, and I have therefore been directed elswhere.

'Elsewhere' for me means the Environment Agency. In this way I feel pretty sure that I can get visibilty of the bits relating to my dispute on the Wensum.

Good luck back at ya barry ...

Hiyer Andy, copy for your info, cheers for the advice. Sent to the E A today :D

That's great Barry, nice to see you exercising your legal rights. But I think it's a bit unfair to expect to receive all discussion documents over an eight month period at the first time of asking. Ask for them by all means, but give the guys a chance, and don't be surprised if you get stonewalled in the first instance ...

Cheers,

Twice they have confirmed my request and that the info i require will be with me within the time scale. Just hope the information isn't sanitised

As you may know I propose to launch a new national body to represent RSA information about this idea can be seen here>>>> http://www.rodbenders.net/?cat=21

The idea of posting on this thread will enable you here on Anglers Net to discuss the merits and pitfalls prior to the launch which is just a few weeks away.

It would be a shame if this thread was allowed to just fade away. It started in response to the Angling Trust's failed attempts to get an internet forum off the ground. Over the 56 odd pages of discussion it's covered some good ground. I guess all good things have to come to an end, but I'm not sure that we've quite reached the end of the road on this topic yet .....

Look on the bright side, Andy - this thread has lasted longer than the topic it's about :)
