I need some new waders

I had some Leeda rubber thight waders and they only lasted half a dozen trips out before splitting in several spots, personally I wouldn't buy another pair. The soles where cheap and nasty cleated one's and I felt every small pebble I stood on.

The waders I have are actually hunter stream fisher and you do still get batches of them coming up on ebay.

Regarding the Aigle one's, if there as good as their wellingtons they'll be excellent, I reckon if I couldn't get the streamfishers I'd have a stab at the Aigles.

That's helpful thanks. I already have a pair of Aigle wellies and they are excellent. Thanks for the heads up on the Streamfisher - that's interesting, I'll keep an eye out.

Any more suggestions, advice? One additional thing I forgot to mention was that I occasionally wade in the sea - when fly fishing or bay slinging - does this ruin waders faster than normal? It doesn't seem to in my experience, but I fish so rarely in the sea (it's over 80 miles in any direction from here!) it's difficult to say.

When streamfisher and keenfisher stopped although only after producing waders which got mold on very quickly in their final trading period, I switched to Ocean give them a look they work fine for me and I fish all the year round. True not the cheapest if you want studds

If money is no object then I think the best are 'Hunter' Industrial Rubber Chest Waders

but at £97.95 plus £14.00 for studding...ouch

Or look at hodgman waders

Hi bbamboo - Oddly, whilst surfing last night for waders ans centrepins, I found ( honest) url="http://www.suitsandboots.co.uk/index.php/Rainwear-Forum/Your-Collection/1037-ReWellies.html"]this[/url]website along the same lines.

Strange, but whatever floats your boat!

To pricey, and the also appear to be a little, er, on the kinky side of things! (see link on previous last post).

The Hodgeman and Rivendell don't appear to be available in the UK - but may be they'll pop up on e-bay.

Any more?

Sorry I thought you wanted them for fishing not for a fashion statement.

I believe the Fire Brigade use Hunter usually or Ocean, guess it depends on their budget
