Wow!

Worms

Recommended Posts

I got mine from J-Mart with 12 asorted coloured glue sticks yesterday for a total of £5.98!

I've already made three nymphs! Takes a bit of practice and not quite up to that guy's standards, but not bad, especially my lead wound Gammarus!

Just read your post (somehow missed it before), thanks for the info

Here's another way of using it - when I got mine, I also bought a special plastic sheet which hot melt glue will not stick to. Let it cool and you can peel it right off.

So I tried making worms on it, and that looked interesting. Then I realised that I could use it to make a film, by dripping glue onto it and folding it over before it set. This is a shrimp I made using a hot melt film:

Ah, cunning stuff, that looks like a right little grayling killer..........you'd better hurry B)

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

Yes, I knocked up another half a dozen of them in various sizes yesterday evening - will possibly make a few more tonight, though I suspect that SWMBO is beginning to find it a bit antisocial of me. If the river levels settle, I might see if I can find a bit of day ticket grayling fishing. The Tone at Taunton used to be quite good.
