No Dales probably still stick to my original "Angling Journalists and Cullers" reply ..................................................................

allthough There is a new menace out there thats starting to make me a little bit more tolerant about Angling Journalists.....and thats the "In their 20's been fishing ten minutes but look at me in this angling (promoting my boss's companies products) DVD presenter"! They are all so God Dam intense,"I love carp" hip and down with the kids with their daft "street" (or should that be "bivvy"?) patter and Hip Hop hats that I want to personally stick their camo throwing sticks as far up their bivy bed bound backsides as I can.......................Sorry best take some more Prosac!

Anyway got to get back down the pit and spod the granny out of it with my Munga mix.................

Dick you've cheered me up no-end: I thought I was on a downer but compared to you I'm a happy chappy.

Now hand over some of those prozac.

P.S. Elton I hope those bream grow big on all that pig bait :bleh:

I'm still firmly entrenched in Budgie's camp....if you know what I mean

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

Phone, are those big Goldfish a major problem on your side of the pond? I have seen pictures of people holding up big Goldfish (that would cost a fortune over here)and claiming to have caught them by accident.

I would have assumed that if released they would stand out like a soar thum and soon be nailed by predators. Or would being 2lb plus make a big difference to their survival chances? I would have thought that Goldfish would be low down on the problem list of species in the USA.

Stephen

Apart from the obvious, (carp), I'd cull those who moan about those of us who like a good moan.

John.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John
