What's the use of Metcheck?

Recommended Posts

No comfort for Vagabond, but it looks as though Metcheck was more or less right and the BBC/Met Office were wrong.

Yep, missed a trip out to the Shambles for turbot as a result.

Should that no be 'what's the use of the BBC weather forcast Vags??

Had me a lovely late morning / afternoon here at Southbourne - exactly as forcast by Metcheck on Friday, and as forecast today is a washout - hence the beach trip yesterday.

Now that the actual weather is known, which set of predictions were the more accurate?

Metcheck's in this case, and by a mile.

All three links I put up had it right, including the BBC coastal forecast, and XCweather. I'm not sure which bit of XCWeather Vagabond was looking at but mine showed it pretty accurately as I said in post 3.
