They're about £400, I believe. Handmade to order and universally acknowledged as one of the very best vices that money can buy. The big money they fetch when they turn up on eBay probably also reflects the fact that that's the only way of buying them without having to sit on a waiting list for six months.

I've never tied a fly in my life, but as I grow older, I have started to realise that if you can afford it, it is often best to spend what many would deem a lot of money on an item if it's one that will bring you a lot of pleasure and/or make your life much easier. I dare say that's the case with an expensive vice.
