The first time this happened I was rather impressed. Suitably bureaucratic looking ID card from unknown 'authority' to say he was not receiving benefit, had dealings with the police but trying to get onto the straight and narrow etc, and would I buy some household items? These turned out to be unbelievably expensive.

 

I had assumed it was a 'con' where the lads were innocent pawns in someone else's game, so when a lad called today I decided to buy something if it was cheap as I was feeling sorry for the lad. 'Anything for 2 pounds?' '2 dusters for £3.99.' 'Nothing for £2?' 'you can have them for that'.

 

Hmm, if he had the ability to give such a discount, wasn't he involved in the scam? Does anyone have any info about these schemes?

Sometines they turn up with nothing but empty promises to sell and claim that all they want in return is your vote.

Unfortunatly, this variety is just as dishonest as the duster selling species.
