Beads

i have recently been doing more fishing from the shore for flattys and have been paying a couple of quid for beads, after searching for them online at a cheaper price i found a few craft shops selling beads for braclets and necklaces etc.

They do florescent, metallic, and even glow in the dark ones in bulk for alot cheaper than then tackle shop,

But i dont know if they would stand up to being repeatedly cast into the sea and washed around into rocks etc.

as anyone else had a go with them? or is it better to pay the extra and get ones from a tackle shop?

Some might use the argument to use it or loose it. With regards to your local tackle shop.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

credit crunch time, i support local shops when i can but when it comes to getting a box of 60 beads or a box of 300 for the same cost i have to go with the bargain

Ah! I pop down to the estuary and turn over a few rocks for them :)

(Carefully putting the rocks back as I found them of course).

How very true Barry. The lengths to which some anglers will go to save a few bob never ceases to amaze me. Tight as a ducks uno they are.Yet when their reel pack in they are off crying to their local tackle shop and expecting immediate service.

Safety habits last a lifetime.

Part of the fun in fishing is making your own rigs and I find it very difficult to walk out of a tackle shop with just my bait. Always have a good rumage through the glitzy bits looking for new ideas. £10 will buy a 1000 beads in my local shop, smaller packs are always there, as it has been stated use or loose.

As Dave said once they go so does your easiest source of baits, plus all the good local info.

I fish, I catches a few, I lose a few, BUT I enjoys. Anglers Trust PM

Indeed, moving sidewards a little, bought a 9000 off ebay three years ago, new for not a lot of dosh, had two years of real abuse and use big time, mainly wrecking, sure enough it needed a service. Posted it to a tackle shop, a few days later they contacted me to say that the very bit it needed is no longer avalible, so the manufacturer advised them for 25 quid i can part ex it for another brand new one.

hows that for service, so what price the cheapo beads if these guys ain't around to do that for you.
