Total And Otter Bull?

Recommended Posts

I certainly agree that anglers would be treading a very dangerous path if they decide to openly call for otter and cormorant culls.

The adverse consequences of a public backlash would hurt anglers and angling far more than otters ever could.

You won't get any sence or balance with the people who claim to be repping the anglers, Salter and the a t and their members have called for the otters to be 'managed' and continue to do so. If you look at their web site and their private forum (that won't take too long as it's a quaint secular, we want action mob who write on it). I don't know what other words they can actually use with regards to management apart from culling and nor do they. It's as though they are on a mission to get rid of the problem, otters, without any proof of the damage done. No, i'm not talking about the few fotos' of dead fish that they emotively put up. I'm talking about facts and figures. If they was to show fish stocks at the time that pesticides etc un-natually keeped the otter population low and the decimation of the stock, that they now claim, they just might be beleived.

Thats how the secular a t work, just like the eel ban, they put out incorrect assumptions, pulb talk, hearsay arguments and wish everyone to believe that their word is fact, far from it.

For balance, redmire has a population of fish, otters, eels etc, do they cull them there? Or are they left to their own devices?

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

I couldn't agree more.

This makes O'Hara very cross. "It's just mad," he says. "Most of those fish shouldn't be there, and they're only that size because of the mountains of artificial bait thrown at them. Otters aren't a problem on a naturally stocked lake or river; the Tyne's full of them, and it's the best salmon river in England. But the main thing is, it's easy to protect a lake from otters. You put a fence round it. These people just don't want to pay. And if you present an otter with an open larder, he'll help himself. He's a predator. It's what he does."
