Tiscali emails

Talktalk, having taken over Tiscali, i have signed up to their Essentials package.

 

Emails to ......@tiscali.co.uk are being received, however emails will not send. Get this error......

 

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'ska', Account: 'pop.tiscali.co.uk', Server: 'smtp.tiscali.co.uk', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

 

 

Have had a look all over Talktalk's web site and member forums, cannot see anywhere where it's says i will loose my Tiscali email account ???

 

In a nut shell, have i lost all my Tiscali email addresses ?

even if you set up thunderbird to the correct server settings it seems to know best and gets muddled with the out going server in BT ,now i just remove the default number 25 and let it redo it and alls well,that's the trouble with some software its getting big headed and thinks its boss
