One of their supporters, sat just in front of the commentary box, blew a football referee's whistle at three-second intervals, ALL DAY.

 

As he wrapped up the day's play, Richie Benaud was very restrained.

In these digital TV red button days, why can't we choose to just hear the commentators' microphone feeds instead of the ones with the crowd noise? It's not like we'll miss out on any "atmosphere" because, thanks to the plastic trumpet blowing retards, there is none. As far as the crowds are concerned, the match might as well not be going on!

Worst world cup finals ever, the sooner we get knocked out and TV lose interest the better!
