do any of you change your feeder fishing tactics and way you feed loose feed during the warm days?

I'm off on tuesday to get a good days fishing in hopefully and from the looks of it, it will be around 25 degrees and sunny. I was hoping to do a bit of feeder fishing for carp and tench and just wondering if I should change tactics.

also what baits work best in hot weather? I usually use maggots at the lake im off to because there isn't any small silver fish but do you recommend any other baits?
