Big fish, little pond

Fish CAN grow quite large in a small pond, especially one in a farmers ground. There will be an abundance of insect life, and there will be good old earthworms going into the water every time it rains. There is a lot of things not used by anglers in the U.K. but found in abundance that fish find edible - frogs, tadpoles, earwigs, crickets etc.
