AnglersNet fish-in, Lower Itchen Fishery

Elton could you pin this please.

Ok,

I’ve booked LIF for 20 places on Saturday 12th March 2011, plenty of time for planning and still Sunday left for those intending to visit the last chance saloon of their choice. We will have access to the coarse syndicate section at the top of the stretch.

The rub…I have to pay Lyndsey 50% deposit by Christmas so places will only be confirmed once I’ve received a cheque to the value of £22.00 from each of you (PM me for details). If by Christmas we haven’t filled the places I’ll send 50% of total payment received to Lyndsey and confirm the final numbers. Thereafter anybody else wanting to go will need to call the fishery and book themselves in.

Just over two months to decide, should be do-able.

In amongst this thread is lots of useful info for those who haven’t been before including an excellent guide written by Chris Plumb (page 18);

By all means reply to this thread if you’re interested but don’t forget, no cheque no confirmation, I don’t mind fronting deposits for a small event but not of this size.

Confirmed so far:

Me :)

It's never a 'six', let's put it back

Count me in, sounds great. Just emailed you. N

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

Fundamentally fishing is a philosophy. A philosophy of earth, and growth, and quiet places. In it there is a rule of life, a recognition of permanences. It makes you notice the little things of nature, wherever you may be. ~Bernard Venables

Sounds great, would love to go. Will PM you for details of where to send payment.

Plus many thanks for organising this Rusty, it's much appreciated.
