If anyone wants a wychwood rocket spod rod 3lb tc ive just found one in the garage , it was a gift from an uncle a few years ago who thought i was a carp angler  and ive never used it so it is as new and i could bring it along tommorrow

I think 40 pounds is fair :)

Where's the best place to fish for spods then?

It's never a 'six', let's put it back

Got everything ready now just gotta go buy lunch!

Made a game plan in my head, on arrival i shall cut to the chase and throw all my floats into any bankside vegetation, make a birdsnest with my 'pin then settle down with the quiver tip haha

Just a question for those that have been before. As you approach the fishery with the entrance on your left do you enter the mill itself or drive in over the smaller entrance to the left?

All packed and ready, I look forward to seeing you all in the morning.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

Yes. This one - under the arch and you'll see the weirpool on your left and the mill leet on your right - carry on through the gate, under the M27 and up the fishery...
