Lol made me think of anti shipping aircraft then that certainly would make fishing interesting i can almost imagine the posts

 

Fishing at the lake today had a good haul with carp to 22lb but took a little anti aircraft fire over peg 14

 

We have the technology

I think i may have unearthed some more aggressive tendencies here XD

 

What do you have in your tackle box, spare hooks, line, rigs, a light support weapon and laser target designator?

 

However i can say with confidence that hand grenades come in camo colours to suit the serious carper, you can even spray nash or shimano on them too if it makes you feel better

What about a little mini remote control robot fish lure type thingy for Pike fishing?

 

Something that would swim up and down the lake, covering loads of water for those days when you just cant be asked to get the lures out or wobble a dead bait. You could sit in your chair and move your lure around using a mouse on your lap top. It would be even better if it could read the contours of the lake and know when to clear gravel bars etc. Variable speed and some sort of camera to beam back underwater pictures would be useful. You might even be able to drive the lure straight in to the mouth of a unsuspecting Pike :D

 

When you think of bait boats etc, it does not seem such a stupid or far off idea. If you use a bait boat to get your bait to the ideal location, why not take it to extremes and the ideal bait placement is to deposit your bait in the fishes mouth :rolleyes:

 

It will only be a matter of time :D but while I wait for this wonderous creation, maybe I could try screwing a few trebles on to one of those bath toys, but I guess the wind up mechanisim would not last more then a few feet.

Or some kind of underwater pendulum to hypnotise them?Maybe a lead with a watch face.
