Hi all according to Dragoncarp direct these have been tested by Angling times and their link brings me to this forum but no results found any ideas on how good they are.

they're every bit as good as the old tf-gear x-pin and even better than a ikonix centrepin ,because they're the same but different ,(and cheaper from dragoncarp ) still a good reel though .

basically its the same reel as the old TF-gear X-pin (tf gear no longer sell it) sold as the ikonix through a lot of retailers and e-bay for around £45-£75 ,the dragoncarp Marco Cortesi is the same reel rodger the dodger just had a italian name engraved (to tie in with the avanti brand) but still manage too sell it for £30 and is the cheapest quality reel on the market .

if you fancy one get it quick ,as he only buys them in small batches ,and at this price they fly off the shelfs .

I have one and it is very smooth after just a little tweaking up. My mate Clive has one and he does the same thing to all his pins, spins them while he watches tv...when I asked him he said he has spun his one for over 10 hours each direction and it is quite smooth.

I agree with everyone else. I got one not long ago and they are a great reel and for a really great price. I would definetly recommend them.

I'll just have to be patient, and hope I don't miss the next batch!

I have been mulling over getting one, will just have to keep an eye out on their website for when they get a few more in.
