Heres mine and an abbrieviated list of mods

It runs a 2jz-gte hybrid twin off a stand alone engine management system with launch control4, 650cc injectors, HKS Intercooler, Greddy boost controller supplied by a 450lph fuel pump through a TRD limited slip diff onto Tien coilovers with a full TRD race chassis support and sway bar set up which gently touch the road on 19" Finelli recessed alloys. its rolling roaded at 450bhp when my new big single goes in and some different internals i am expecting to see that raise by at least 50 -75bhp (this is at the wheels btw)

4 wheel geometry is set up by Chris at Centre of Gravity mods and upgrades by yours truly. And yes i am considering nos if i can figure out how to uprate the tiptronic gearbox without having to buy a boostlogic one i'm waiting for this one to go pop as it is

To be fair my everyday motor is exactly the same but with the split rear seat down to get the rod bag in and no mud as the kids cleaned it at the weekend

That sounds like an absolute beast, Austin, but looks nice and subtle

We have these, both standard apart from the wheels on the Z:

The Elise is likely at some point to get a 2bular exhaust and the Lotus motorsport remap to lower the cam change point.

We still miss this one a bit - standard apart from a Racing Beat catback that made it sound how Mazda should have done it from the factory:

Hmm the things i could do with a 350z have been toying with the idea of getting one for a while but ex issues prevent enjoyment as such. I'd seriously suggest looking into an induction kit to go with the exhausts though and i bet the elise is fun around the bends

quite jelous of some of your cars, im running a ford focus 2002 ex police with lpg conversion, theres a few mods done by the cops like suspension, nothing major but im needing the cv joint replaced pretty soon.

im planning a carpc install running Centrafuse i.c.e software as soon as i get my 7" Lilliput touch screen for the dash and obdII reader for a digi dash read out that centrafuse has.

no pics yet it looks terrible as it needs to be resprayed and trim bits put back on, the cops really kicked the crap out of what is really a good car :(

Yawn.

I've got a 20 year old Peugot 406

It's got a wheel in each corner and takes me and three other adults from Southampton to Glasgow in eight hours, in relative comfort, without having to take on fuel.

I do have a soft spot for big internal combustion engines but you'll need to squeeze another 90,000 bhp out of it before it'll whet my appetite.

Youtube Video ->

That's not the biggest version any more. The latest has 2 more pistons and is a straight 14.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

They're very nice, but more of a GT than a sports car, IMO. Heavy, at 1500kg, and they feel it. I guess you'd probably want to FI it, I don't think there's much more power to be had otherwise. It makes a lovely noise, though - when we first got it, I thought perhaps the exhaust was aftermarket, but in fact they all sound like that. The wife uses it as a daily driver, so it's more than loud enough for her purposes. She used to have an MX-5, but decided that she wanted something quicker. We considered getting the '5 supercharged, but the lure of the Z was too strong.

I may do something with the induction on the Elise - it's insured with a specialist with a 200bhp ceiling before I have to put my hand in my pocket again, and induction and exhaust on a 189bhp engine that already makes 105bhp/litre is unlikely to take me over that. My only concern would be the noise levels - I'll go for a 2bular because they are hardly louder than stock at low revs, so it won't upset the neighbours or drive me nuts on the motorway, and I wouldn't want too much induction noise. The reason for doing something with it is that it really isn't a very charismatic engine, the 2ZZ-GE, and really sounds uninspiring, bland yet harsh, and because the Elise has so little sound insulation, there's no getting away from it. If I've got to listen to the damn thing, it would be nice if it made a more interesting noise! I'd swap it for a Honda K20A any day. Still, like you say, there's nothing like it through the bends this side of a Caterham. 860kg and unassisted steering. It's a crying shame that the Swiss marketing man who now runs Lotus plans to turn the next Elise into an 1100kg pimpmobile for posers

To give you an idea of what i work with the same tonnage of engines would produce roughly 17 164 000hp. Impressive engine nonetheless but i think it'll be a struggle to get that under the hood and still see
