One of Those Days?

Does anyone else ever have those days when you go fishing, drop your car keys in the water, followed by your mobile phone. Your lure files off because you haven't closed the snap properly, it pours with rain, when the forecast said fine and windy, someone locks the gate chain so tight on the outside that you can't get the key into the padlock from inside the gate and you find the flask of hot water you took with you to make a brew is actually empty when you come to make said brew?

If so you could join SGAI a loosley structured organisation for crap anglers, (I am here not referring to carp).

The competition is to determine what SGAI stands for - no prizes just FUN confused.gif

Mike,

This is a serious question, because I haven't seen you on the newsgroups - have you seen the report of when I fell in?

I am only a "beginner" at this computer chat lark. Leon did kindly send me an e-mail about the newsgroups, but I'm still trying to translate it biggrin.gif

However I know about falling in, I've got the T-shirt!!

Once off a bank whilst fly fishing the Windrush and twice from boats, once into water at about 60 degrees, which was lovely and once into water at about 4 degrees, which was extremely cold, fortunately a fishing mate on the bank grabbed me and pulled me out. The thermal shock was too great to even let me swear about doing it the second time.

If your's is a good story you should publish it here on your site.
