Charity Book Auction - Update

Many thanks to all of you who bid on this. Even if you weren't successful you contributed to making someone else bid more!

 

The total raised so far is £264.25. Of the 41 books I've so far put up no less than 33 sold, including all of those above the minimum starting price of £2.

 

I've got 5 more to put up, but it'll probably have to wait until after the weekend now. So keep a look out on the auction page!

 

Some of the books I have here, but most Chris has. However, I'll be contacting the winners shortly with a note of what the post and packing costs will be. The local Post Office counter staff are going to bless Chris and me!

I'm cursing the timing of the closing date in a big way!!! I was gonna come in with a few late bids Problem is our building was struck by lightening yesterday (Now THAT was loud!) and our PC's were off ALL day - que sera!

Must have been someone else then who stole in front of me at the death and outbid me on a few items Still from a charity perspective a bit more was raised, I just won't have as many books overflowing from the book case.

Going off on a tangent slightly. I don't know if you have any control over this but I tried to change my password on the site several times unsuccesfully from the one supplied on registering. Unfortunately, the original password was sent to my home E-mail address and I hadn't forwarded the mail to myself at work, hence no last minute bidding from me to secure Andy Ormes Amazing Meat book

 

I'll keep an eye out after the weekend for the next batch though.

Tinca - I don't think you can change the password as I tried myself. Maybe Elton knows.
