hi,

I am an absolute beginner at coarse fishing and I have recently bought some tackle. Could you tell me please the best way to attach a swimfeeder when ledgering that is reasonably tangle free?

regards.

The most important point here is fish safety. If the line breaks above the feeder many popular rigs mean that it won't come free. It could then be dragged around by a fish until it's tethered. The result could be one poor dead fish.

Steve Randles came up with a brilliant safe version of the almost tangle-free looped feeder rig. Peggy is dishing up dinner and so I'll leave it to someone else to find and post a link.

...or a Korda Safety Clip for a semi-fixed set up.

(Make sure you get the right sized swivels for the bore of the clip )
