Siemens Gigaset SE587 wireless router

Recommended Posts

Several months ago, when AOL upgraded my service to 8mb (for free), I was actually getting lower than the 2mb I was on before.

Fearing an admin CU, when I spoke to them, they said that the change had been done but that it would take several days for the increased speed to stabilise, and to call back if it hadn't within a week (BS?).

The day before I was due to give them another call, I was getting much higher speeds :)

A couple of times since, the speed has dropped considerably, and dropped out altogether, which I assume was connected with off-peak work being done at the exchange (usually on a Sunday), but the following day has been back to normal.

LOADS of people in France on NEUF Telecom having this problem Leon?? Neuf took over the AOL accounts here?? Wonder if it is the same technology??? Certainly would be worth having a look at this?

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

Bin Fodder.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Bin Fodder.

I gave mine away. The person who I gave it to sent it straight back and bought one that actually works properly.

English as tuppence, changing yet changeless as canal water, nestling in green nowhere, armoured and effete, bold flag-bearer, lotus-fed Miss Havishambling, opsimath and eremite, feudal, still reactionary, Rawlinson End.

If your going to have a router, BUY a NetGear or D-Link, preferably a NetGear. If a NetGear router stops working NetGear will send you a replacement. Avoid Belkin, more bin fodder.
