I'm looking to do some fishing as I have just started. I'm thinking of going for pike problem is where all of the main lakes here have them bassenthwaite derwent wtc problem is will I have a chance off the bank?

 

Other than that what are good species to target in the winter :D

I don't think its easy, but i've heard the roach fishing can be good in some of the lakes if you know where to go.
