whats your most used bait

just wondering what's peoples most popular bait that they use more than anything, mine has to be the good old fashioned earth worm( not the silly little things you buy in tackle shops) , it out fishes everything else on the river and drains i fish around scunny.

lately i'm using boilies and pellets more than ever.

 

red maggots, bread, sweetcorn and van den eynde flavoured luncheon meats were probably my most commonly used until more recently when i moved on to Carp fishing.

 

now i use boilies, pellets, hemp etc. all the time.

Worms, no argument.

Anything sizeable enough to take a big lob on a #4 is fine by me

for me its bread or sweetcorn, as maggots are almost unobtainable where i live, and worms are a "burger" to get out of ground that has seen no rain for 4 months.

i also lure fish a lot.

Most used hookbait is probably worm - all varieties depending on venue. Most used feed maggot, but not often used as hookbait in the summer due to bits. I'm also using pellet a lot this year, but that's more due to target species.

Pellet for me and second is either boilie or luncheon meat, this is due to where I fish and the species I fish for.
