Newt:

Perhaps the post was intended to be irony? Tongue-in-cheek?

That's the way I read it.

I think that's how most people will have read it.

Thanks to those who DID get the point. To the others, get your mum to explain it!

Er Graham

Next time do you think that you could run to a couple of "capitalist lackeys" I never feel as if I have been lambasted properly without a few capitalist lackeys.

Well, me and my cohorts are off to bait a badger or two. After that I think we will go and strangle some baby foxes with some fishing line so we can blame the anglers and get them banned. Once they are out of the way we can kill all of the Pike and stock the pond with salmon, then we can throw the hounds in to fetch them, do some proper fishing harrumph harrumph

Regards

Dave

bigot [show phonetics]

noun [C] DISAPPROVING

a person who has strong, unreasonable beliefs and who thinks that anyone who does not have the same beliefs is wrong:

He was known to be a loud-mouthed, opinionated bigot.

Graham, I see that in your profile you enjoy getting up bigot's noses.

Given the above definition wouldn't that be classed as yet another example of self abuse?

Dave, I think your capabilities of parallel thinking are wasted on your target.

Well, this one has run its course. Not the last post or even the last several but a general lowering of tone so I will exercise my modly powers and close it. Plenty of good info inside so only closing and not deleting.
