does anyone use prawns?

where do you get your prawns from and do you have to prepare them

Just get a bag of frozen prawns from the supermarket or nick some from the freezer if the old lady aint watching. Have caught plenty of carp and tench over the years.

Have caught both carp and tench on prawns.

Prawns are a very good bait,but cockles are

much better,and usually cheaper.

Used to use prawns on the Trent, particularly effective below weirs.

Summer & winter - excellent for big Chub.

Use whole prawns, feelers & all, I think the Chub may mistake them for crayfish.

I only ever get two casts with prawns!!.

By then I have eaten them all, I just have got no self control
