Where is that? We had a week at Rost in 2009 and are looking for a return trip, the fishing was awsome !!

Was going to ask where it was. Ive had to offers of free holidays to Norway recently and foolishly never went. I was invited Salmon fishing on the Guala In July, and also to Trondheimsfjord for some winter cod fishing only a few days ago.

 

Hope to get out there one day soon.

Notice how far from open sea that place is, the guys had gone to wade and spin for Sea Trout.

 

I had no waders and was shore bound with some prawn for bait.

 

I was amazed to catch Coddling and Dabs 100 kms inshore

Norway always surprises! We landed at Boda, on the coast from there and flew out to Rost, the Cod were enormous and plentiful, the 50lber in my Avatar is testament to that! But the best fun was 15- 20lb Coalies on a cheap fladen lure and 9' spinning rod, I had to have a lie down after every one I caught, from laughing and exhaustion - they were mental torpedoes!
