And what a season if you add in your Wingham catches - a 17-03 bream, a 37lb carp, tench to over 9lbs, not to mention that huge haul of 66 tench in one session!

Thanks Steve, although the carp was just a massive fluke while tench fishing so I don't think that really counts! Anyway, anyone can catch carp I think even Elton has caught one

 

I doubt I'll have a season this good for a while, it just all fell into place this year. Next season will be more difficult simply because work is threatening to be very busy for the months I really want to be at Wingham. Work has to come first of course, so I'm just hoping I can squeeze in some trips during those key periods. Fingers crossed...!

 

I think perch will be much more of a target next season. I had to sacrifice the perch fishing this year for the chubbing, and I'm glad I did, but I would really like to get a big perch from both stillwater and river next season. I have venues in mind. One of them I think you know quite well
