Caught my first Tench today ! A beautiful 3lb er !

 

Going fishing tommorow as well !

Yeah, they were my favourite non - caught fish, now they're my favourite caught !

My sons first tench was just shy of 3lb. Absolutely beside himself when he caught it. Even better for the 5 minute fight to get it in.

 

I can still remember my first tench - 1lb 11oz.

i cant wait to hook a tench, i heard they are tricky to catch and great fighters, there meant to be a "strong hold" of tench in the forth and clyde (as some websites describe) but i havnt heard anything otherwise
