What we got when we fished it last.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Not going to be the same boat as me last trip to the murrey, because their boy is busy rowing the Atlantic right at this very mo and the skipper Simon pedley with his wife will shortly be flying to Barbados to welcome him over there. I am aware that they are very good at fund raising for various charities including the RNLI, so i imagine that this will raise a few bob. Good luck to the boy.

Anyway to keep it in the family it's this boat and Dean is a nephew of the skippers wife. He's keen to please and will give it his best make sure that fish will come aboard, apart from the crack. :D

Some lovely fish there Barry. How big was the biggest pollack ?

They are my favourite fish to catch, but when I was talking to Paul about them recently he said they dont fight as well in deep water because their swim bladders often blow. Is this something you have experienced ?

When we catch them on the kayaks, in 20-30 ft of water they go ballistic.

didn't quite reach 20lb some around 15lb I find with a 12-20 they go like stink initially to get back to the wreck, still banging away until they reach the top. The average depth is 55m so they can't go back down. I find It's the ling that throw their guts compared to the pollack. Shallow water pollack, without the depth there is only one way for them to go and that is sideways, so i do understand your gonna get a good old tug on your line. I have found the cod will give a solid thump, head shaking, however the pollack tend to try and take line off you. Very often the bigger pollack are away from the boat when they surface, so to me thats the sign that they have tried to get away on the way up, thats why the fight can be very good.

I had one die on me last year, fighting well but halfway up it went like a sack of spuds, first time that happened. When it came aboard it was lifeless.

Bl@@dy good fun. Still waiting for a 20lb der, bought time i had one. Cheers glennk
