Transferring data from Win 2k to Win 7

i would suggest the issue isnt software as much as the amount of emails your keeping! 9500 emails is a stupidly HUGE number!!

i thought my bosses outlook account was big with 800! i have a go at him regular to cut down on what he is saving!!

i would suggest you take alot of them out and simply store them as "files" in a folder somewhere..they will still open on a double click, but then wont fracture your mail folders like your seeing now.

i think your going to struggle with that amount simply due to size issues and folder structure issues......

Aha! I downloaded the import-export add-on for T'bird, converted the files to .eml and then cut and pasted them to my Live Mail inbox....just 2010-11
