I'd also go for the Chubs. Had a play with them before and they feel like a quality bit of kit. Decided on the Prologic XLNT in the end though as they were just a little thinner in the blank.

Out of the 3 listed I would got with the Shimano.

But I will recommend the ESP Reflex 2.75tc rods. Ive got 2x, paid £85 each about 2 years ago. Caught many carp, bream and tench off the pair. 12ft long, well built and for the money I think they are very good. ESP Sniper are also a good line of rods IMO.

06 Jaguar S Type 2.7 Twin Turbo V6D.

ok thanks for your help and info

was going for the shimano hyperloops bx 2.75 tc

found out they aren't made any more and are quite hard to come by new

so it is now a toss up between shimano vengeance and the catana with the 50mm first ring

some one said that the hyperloop was replaced by the vengeance but i haven't been able to get confirmation on this.

looking to buy a pair of rods about the end of the month Eric's has the catanas at £69.95 spend over £100 and get free next day delivery
