There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

What?

Thames intrepitude?

My trips were done in 1998 and 2001, ches, when the rest of the tabloid angling world was going all wobbly about - what was it, at the time? - oh yeah - barbel (did them many years ago!).

"What did you expect to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically...?"

Virgin jungle!

That went courtesy of some corporation's branded razor.

The somewhat leathery creatures that I encountered (in my off-duty R&R moments) were all on their second or third boob-job (minimum), and some of them were old enough to be my daughter...

Selfless stuff, Ches. WAY beyond the call of duty...

argyll:

Absolutely Chris. Wild stuff, the perfect antedote to Neville's Mammoth Book of Numbers.

Nev's books must be getting better! The last one I half read, Piking in the '80's, well, I thought my tax return for that year was the perfect antidote for that enthralling tome!
