The forum seems very quiet this week with the same few posting about Wingham, I guess most of the other members going are off packing.

lol yes it does seem to be just a handful. Maybe the others just aren't as excited. Or maybe they are already camping outside the gates lol

Absolutely excited, where do I start, Some thieving toe-rag nicked me chair a while back,I think after my visit to redmire when I cast three rods and awoke to minus 8c and a solid lid on the place. 400miles a few quid and 3 casts ? anyway as I only really brought my bivvy and bed etc for the chance to fish Wingham I didnt really notice the buggers had nicked me bed as well,I think I left them outside me garage one sunday.

chair and bed replaced I am soooo glad I am gonna get the chance to use it this weekend,that said this would have been the first time I could have made the full weekend,i am still planning to get down saturday morning but have to work all friday night and I have to get back to work monday night. still work may be crap but the weekend is getting closer. :D

Well I'm fishing, as will be my Brother - newish forum member "MadRuss"

 

 

My gears all packed, new line on my reels, just deciding if I should bring a centrepin to floatfish the margins!

 

bait is all ready - is a dozen tins of corn and a gallon of hemp sufficient ???? Russ is off work on friday so will be picking up enough maggot for both of us!

 

Really looking forward to this, Wingham is one of the highlights of my fishing year, I'll be really dissapointed when the inevitable happens and it's my turn to sit one out . . . . .
