Predictions for the Wingham AN-Fish-In

Because of the increase in Weils - May I remind you Daiwa does a HAND SANITIZER which kills the bacteria that causes Weils Disease.

Liver Flukes are a danger in all UK waters and are now known to be widespread and present in wild water cress so don't nibble any and don't have a quick pee in the lakes not only is it disgusting and unnecessary you are putting yourself at risk and not just from liver flukes Other anglers are going to be getting their hands wet in the water and I doubt they would appreciate dunking their hands in your waste products.

I will stick my neck out and predict a PB perch for myself. Simply because my current PB was so small I didn't weigh it properly. If I catch any perch from Wingham i suspect it will be PB by a large margin :D

For those who get nervous or sensitive to country night noise may I remind you there are very few wild animals or creatures that are likely to cause a problem - Anglers trying to get some sleep may be another thing...hehehe

I have heard no reports of gangs of Otters attacking night anglers...hehehe

Its a shame I didn't get my Night Vision Goggles, could've had some fun with them...

P.S. Is it permitted at Wingham to, erm, mark your territory on a tree, so to speak? Unfortunately my bladder has the capacity of a small kiwi fruit...

I have some night vision goggles buy sadly they are not stereo vision ones and so you have no depth perception while wearing them. Its funny trying to reach for things that appear close but are in fact 2 metres away. I never walk around in them as it can be rather risky to have no perception of distance when around water.

Would be excellent for creeping up slowly on Eltons shelter with some rabbits though!

I had a few at the weekend to 1-08 not a patch on some of the Perch a few members have had recently. They do seem to be active all of a sudden, so I'm looking forward to hearing about some 3 pounders being caught over the weekend.

I actually find the stereoscopic ones more disorientating as I have a very weak left eye so my world lacks depth anyway. Can't use binos properly either lol. I know no different so its no loss. Wanted the yukon pulsar GS challenger 1x20 on a headmount but a bit pricey.

There is a zoo only a couple of miles away, with the wind in the right direction there may be some very odd noises!
