borrowed a decent camera to let you see how well the roach and rudd are getting on. colors have really come out wonders and are a lot less patchy and battered looking :)

rudd are still quite spooky but it helps if i offer a tiny amount of food after the light comes on.

also uploaded a short clip to youtube.

watch out for white nose syndrome ,they tend to over react in threatening situations and bang into the glass and their noses getting bashed.

i kept a few many years ago but fry growing on would be better for them as they would be used to human intervention in their new world

my two larger rudd do this quite often, if they keep it up ill probably replace them with much smaller rudd. as thre smaller one only gets freaked out by the larger rudd going bonkers <_<

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

im getting so much enjoyment from keeping roach and rudd, much more fascinating to watch than tropical fish.

the little ones you see darting around are my zebra fish. although not native species i didnt have the heart to evict them since they had been in the tank since i got it.
