I ran across a thread some time back about fishing books. Unfortunately I didn't write the titles down and can't seem to find that thread in the archives.

 

Can anyone either refresh my memory or recommend a few to pick up?

 

One of them was referred to in the thread as good bedside reading. The other was quite old but apparently left a lasting impression.

Exactly the thread I remembered. I didn't go back far enough in my search.

 

Your name reminds me of a river I fished in Oregon at the base of the Steens mountains. It runs through the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. It has a nice head of cutthroat trout in it as well as some huge carp.

 

They tried to cull ALL the carp from the veiwing pond at the refuge headquarters. 500lbs of dynamite didn't do the trick.
