ANGLING for something to do? Then it’s time to get hooked on the South Antrim Fishing Festival which is holding its flagship event at Mossley Mill this Saturday, May 28 between 11am and 5pm.

 

Organised by Newtownabbey and Antrim Borough Councils, the Festival has been running from May 21 and comes to a close with a wonderful family day out on Saturday, May 28.

 

Jenny Bristow, Ireland’s Good Food Ambassador, celebrated chef and author, will be showcasing her skills in the marquee at Mossley Mill at 12 noon on Saturday. And at 2pm and 3.30pm as she will demonstrate how, once you’ve hooked it, you can cook it!

 

Along with fly tying demonstrations, fish stalls, arts and crafts and children’s entertainment, this event promises to be a brilliant day, with something for everyone to enjoy.....
