Another venue you lot may consider is the Wyre you can access a lot of water there for the price of your day ticket....

My preference would be the Ribble - more central for everyone and a wider variety of species.

 

First weekend of the season sounds fair, I can get there lunchtime on Saturday 18th and stay 24 hours.

 

Any thoughts?
