Hi Dan and welcome.

If you post a perch question, it brings out the perch experts to offer answers.

Until you reach full member status after post #15, your posts are invisible until one of the mods approves it. Sometimes none of us are on the forums to see and approve.

good to no that my computers not dying. cheers for telling me newt.

I suppose you will not tell me off for spamming if I post alot untill I get to that magical number 15? I suppose you do it to stop spam and stuff but it is quite annoying.

It is annoying when you are new but it has pretty well put paid to spam. We still get a fair bit of it but none makes it to the visible part of the forum. Spam post and poster are both banished forever.

It is not unusual for new members who really want to participate to post quite a bit until they reach the magic 15 and as long as you aren't advertising porn sites or sites selling odd (non-angling related) goods or posting nonsense such as "la, la, la", it won't be a problem.

Hey Prendy, welcome to Anglersnet, don't worry about the initial restrictions, its for our own good really.

Post a Perch specific question in the coarse section and the 'eggspurts' will lunge forth with hard gained knowledge, insight, wisdom and other such guff! Seriously, you'll see!
