I used to think Tench were hard to catch, that was until I started fishing seriously for carp. If the packet says carp...tench love it.

 

Especially:

 

10mm Richworth Tutti Frutti boilies :D

 

Or pellets...tench lovvvve pellets.

I've got around one and a half kilo's of halibutt pellets left over from a recent trip. Any good? should I use groundbait or not? I was planning on fishing one rod on an alarm and one with a float.
