hi all

lymm A.C. have had accsess to the following waters prohibited

belmont estate

woodside pool

river dee

the pools at sandbach

more are expected to follow though i think common sense should be used esecially on rivers like the severn and the dane.

waters not expected to close are the likes of lymm dam, village pool and possibly whitley pool and other odd waters where accsess from built up areas is possible

This unconfirmed, but probable:

 

"I was talking to my mate mac in Southampton and he tells me that all the waters in and around the new forest ie; Hachett pond, James pond etc. have been closed for fishing as of now"

Congratulations on being so prompt with the fishery closure problems.I hope that anglers take note and accept this,if not access may be lost permanently to some fisheries.

The follwing Lake District Fisheries controlled by WADAA are closed as a precaution against Foot & Mouth.

 

Coarse:Grasmere, Rydal Water, Blelham Tarn,Windermere fishery at Graythwaite, Cleabarrow Tarn, Holehird Tarn, Ratherheath Tarn, Atkinsons Tarn Game:Ghyll Head, Dubbs, High Newton, Moss Eccles Tarn, School Knott Tarn, Hayeswater, High Arnside Tarn, River Rothay, River Brathay

"Local fishing shop bailiff at Tatershall on the Witham closed the fishery as of today, so no fishing at Tatershall, Lincolnshire. He also said that all of the Witham that belongs to NRA will be closed."

Although we are not immediately affected by the outbreak, the Crediton Fly Fishing Club has postponed the beginning of the fishing season on the Rivers Creedy yeo and Taw until after Easter, when a review will be made.
