Blunham and district ac have decided to keep all their waters open until the riparian owners ask for their closure. this means that at the moment college farm ,oakley is closed. all other waters are ,at prsent open!

this may well change at any moment. all fottpaths in this area are closed by order of the local authority,as is bedford priory park. more info later as and when.

Hereford waters are shut.

Heard on the news that Blair in all his wisdom is going to permit the transportation of livestock from "non affected areas to slaughterhouses, to ease the meat shortage at retailers"!

The mind boggles, yet we cant go fishing.

Wonder if all this is a goverment ploy to change our eating/farming habits.

Just to notify all Anglers that Northampton Nene Angling Club has closed ALL of its waters, Still and Flowing, until further notice.

This will certainly close all river stretches until the start of next season.

Some areas affected will include Turvey, Harrold, Lavendon and Newton Blossomville on the Great Ouse.

Do not expect to see all areas with notices posted making this explicit but I can confirm that all waters are definately closed.

I am a Baliff for this Club and therefore this is an official notice.
