I have just put a very rare 50yrs old 3"X 1"popular on Ebay in the reel section (25/7)if anybody wants to take a look.It has gone past its reserve!!

50 years old? Na, definately pre WW11. A little gem that runs a treat. Had a look and a drool, a little beaut to play with. Reckon its probably a salmon spinning aerial. No, I'm NOT buying another reel!

Not buying ANOTHER REEL Peter? I suppose 2 reels would be take to much looking after.LOL.

Who says anything about looking after it? A reel should be like a good woman. Well used, much abused and left to look after themselves .

 

That's worrying, I'm beginning to sound like a certain well known A.T. column writer !
