Recommend an anchor?

Hmm ... not exactly a kayak user, but someone on here may be able to point me in the right direction?

I need a suitable anchor whilst using an inflatable dinghy, either on very slow parts of rivers, or on lakes. Typically I would expect maximum depth to be no more than 30 feet. Needs to be effective (!) and not too heavy ... and inflatable-friendly :D

Thanks

Do a google search for "river anchor". They hold really well and don't have any sharp points or rough surfaces since they are rubber coated.

remember you cant use 30ft of rope to anchor in 30ft of water ,better 90ft with 10ft of chain to ensure the anchor bites ,having to light an anchor is dangerous its very easy to drift a great distance with a dragging anchor while your concentrating on something else
