Dave Lumb:

Why don't all the anti-CA anglers infiltrate it and cause disunity? Then it could honestly claim to represent angling......

Most of PW's posts in the past have been bemoaning anglers' lack of democratic representation on a 'one member, one vote' theme.

He now has the chance to join something that will achieve his aim!

As for disunity, anglers have a proven record for that!

Many of us will welcome that statement, but then remember other similar statements you have made.

Cranfield.. I suspect many more of us would welcome the statement that you and your CA chums have bitten the bullet and admitted defeat..

..and will not post here any more on the subject..

Fat chance, I know..

Graham, it may have escaped your notice but you post more about the CA on here than anyone.

As for CA members not posting on here, does that mean that the 25000 members can't express an opinion on "your" forum

Graham X, its a pity that you don't bother to read other peoples postings more carefully.

I have never suggested that anyone should join the Countryside Alliance, in fact I have stressed that joining any Organisation, is a matter of personal choice.

Also,I have no "CA chums" on here, or anywhere else, that I am aware of.

Another "grown up" response from Graham.

I suppose an intelligent response was too much to expect.

I have looked at some old threads and find that since I started posting I have made one favourable mention of the CA. The rest of the posts have been in response to the peurile offerings of master X and the paranoid ramblings of some others.

As for being "Chums" with anyone from the CA, first I (or they I imagine) have heard of it.

I would love to have a sensible debate about angling but given the mentality of the "opposition" it doesn't seem likely.
