Just wanted to show you guys my pond.

It measures 15 feet x 12 feet and has a depth from 1.8 feet on the sills to 3.5 feet at its deepest point.

It is here that I try new baits and see how attractive they are.

I welcome any comments.

Nice pond I am surprised the lilies survive with the koi in a pond that size they usually wreck them. Have your tench turned into surface feeders? Mine did when they were in with the koi to much competition for the food.

I am in the proccess of constructing a new pond 21' x 10' x 3' 4" , no shelves or plants, koi are out growing current 12' x 4' x 3' 4" pond.

I fish, I catches a few, I lose a few, BUT I enjoys. Anglers Trust PM

My Tench, ever since introducing them, have always taken food from the surface.

My Carp are almost hand trained. They take bread from my hand.

The fussy buggers only seem to go for Hovis sensations.

The Lillies are all heavily weighted but I do keep finding buds which have been broken off.

The plus side to this is that I get new plants continually.... ;);)

I would love to see your pond when it is constructed maybe you could post pics or a YouTube link?

You can easily create a Pond for your flat...no joke.

A Family member of mine had one for 4 years.

Build yourself a frame out of 3x3 or 4x4 timber and line it with hessian sacking.

Ensure that all meet points or corners are bracketed with Brass platesas they are the strongest.

Buy a 3 ply pond liner, not the rubber variety.

Ensure that is is not placed in direct sunlight, keep only 1/3rd in the Sun.

There you have a pond fit for any flat. :clap2::clap2::clap2:

Fill with tap water and put in your plants.

Easily use a small filtration unit with UV light.

Remember Goldfish only for the first 4 weeks then introduce your other species.

i seen a similar setup in a fish shop months ago. it was just simply one of those plastic ponds you get from garden centres but had been nicely wooden decked all around it and full of little koi with a little fake rock feature in the corner with water coming down it.

problem is im staying with my mum at the moment to help bring up my nephew and she wouldnt let me build one in her living room. :(
